Founder Jennet Zelinsky
Jennet Zelinsky
is the visionary and creator of Jen Audrey the hot, trend setting
boutique located in Calabasas, California. The boutique has helped
define the "new California" looks that are represented
in today's top lifestyle magazines, film and television. Jen Audrey
has created a signature sexy look that combines California casual
with fun and flirty colors and styles. Her defining style has drawn
praise from celebrities, and a loyal customer base that makes the
retail concept extremely successful and exciting..
When Zelinsky opened the doors to Jen Audrey in
2001, she did so with a "totally different" shopping experience
in mind. In the past three years the store has established itself
as a major player in the clothing market, not because of its trendy
and cutting-edge designs, but because of its distinctive shopping
atmosphere.
Zelinsky tailored
Jen Audrey around the concept of shopping without being pushed;
shopping with as much assistance as desired, and shopping with a
'friend'. Because shopping at Jen Audrey is a personalized experience,
each client walks away pleased.
She created
her hallmark retail concept by working in various retail stores
where she recognized her talent for making people comfortable in
their shopping endeavors. Eager for a more personal shopping environment,
Zelinsky took a position as the District Manager of a family owned
boutique-chain. After two successful years at Sarah Nicole, where
she increased sales by 10% Zelinsky decided to open a boutique of
her own, Jen Audrey.
In 1992 she took
a position as Co-Manager of Contempo Casual in Montclair California
and soon moved on to Rampage Retailing where she spearheaded the
opening of two Southern California stores. After two years at Rampage,
Zelinsky took over The Gap Retail location in the West Los Angeles'
Beverly Center, the largest grossing Gap in the Southwest.
Zelinsky graduated from Pitzer College with
a BS. Zelinsky currently lives with her husband Adam in Woodland
Hills, California.
